About Kasey

Hello! My name is Kasey Snow and I am a teacher-turned-freelance-illustrator living and working in the Rockies. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2010 with an education degree that I used to teach art in public schools for five years. In 2016 I decided to reach for my dream of becoming a professional illustrator--so  I relocated to the inspiring mountains of Colorado to give it a go.

Telling stories through my artwork and solving visual problems are my passions. I love picking projects apart to find just the right notes and favor utilizing atmosphere and action to elicit an emotional response from the viewer. Delivering professional work while under deadline pressure is something I pride myself on.

When not painting away in my studio, I can often be found buried in a good book or halfway up a mountain--occasionally both at the same time!
